Sprinkles Ice Cream was established in 1984, by mother and daughter Eve and Therese Williams. Donna Marks is now the third owner of Sprinkles, after purchasing the shop in October of 2000. Sprinkles started out as just a small creamery, and evolved into the perfect place for people to get a bite to eat, followed by a scrumptious treat!
Over the years, Sprinkles has gained a great deal of notoriety and publicity. In 1991, the William Kennedy-Smith trial brought in many famous faces, including Bob Hope, Cliff Robertson, and Donald Trump. Celebrities have continued making appearances since Donna Marks became the owner of Sprinkles in 2000. They’ve served Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Jimmy Buffet, Robert Kraft, Brooke Shields, Hoda Koth, Glen Beck, Bret Ratner, Susan Lucci, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Giuliani, just to name a few.
In 2002, People magazine voted Sprinkles’ Triple Chocolate Supreme the #1 ice cream in America. They’ve also been featured in Southern Living and Town & Country magazines. In addition to wonderful ice cream, Sprinkles offers low-fat yogurt, sugar-free yogurt, and delicious non-dairy soft serve. Shakes, smoothies, sundaes, and old-fashioned ice cream sodas are some of the items frequently enjoyed by guests at Sprinkles.
In 2003, the Town of Palm Beach granted permission for the parlor to have outdoor seating. This accomplishment gives customers the opportunity to dine alfresco, while enjoying a grilled Panini, homemade soup or delicious salad in breezy Palm Beach.
The most recent addition at Sprinkles is the gourmet coffee bar. Every pot is made with freshly ground beans, and cappuccinos and lattes can be ordered hot or cold in a wide variety of flavors.
